Add Items and Props to Your Minecraft Character

Items help a skin read as a complete character. Fine-tune props for left and right hands so weapons and tools read clearly in 3D.

What Is Item Studio?

Items help a skin read as a complete character. A sword, book, shield, staff, or tool can make the role of the character clear in a single preview.

Browse Available Minecraft Items

  • Add an item to the left hand or right hand.
  • Swap items between hands or clear one side when the composition feels crowded.
  • Copy one hand setup to the other hand when you want mirrored balance.
  • Fine-tune position, rotation, and size so the item sits naturally in the pose.

Attach Items to Character Hands

Item setups work best when combined with a matching pose or motion. A sword slash, bow aim, shield guard, staff cast, or book-read action makes the prop feel intentional instead of decorative.

Adjust Item Position and Rotation

  • Use snapshots when you want a shareable still image with the prop visible.
  • Use wallpapers when you need more framing room around the character and item.
  • Use GIF or video export when the item motion matters as much as the pose.

Combine Multiple Items on One Character

  • Match the item to the pose. A sword reads better with a ready or slash motion than with a neutral idle pose.
  • Check the camera angle after adding an item because some props can block the face or body.
  • Use larger silhouettes for thumbnails and smaller adjustments for close-up snapshots.
  • Hide editor helpers before exporting so only the character and item remain.

Export the Character with Items

Motion Lab

Use matching poses and motion when the item should feel part of a real action.

Export Studio

Turn the character and item setup into snapshots, GIFs, or videos.

Stage

Carry the prop setup into a larger multi-character scene.

Continue to Motion Lab or Wallpaper Studio

Items read best with complementary poses—open Motion Lab to align sword swings, bow draws, or staff casts. For shareable stills and covers, Wallpaper Studio adds background and crop control before you export.
